Chicago Ideas is an ideas festival for everyone. It’s a unique nonprofit platform designed to inspire action through entertaining and accessible events, grassroots initiatives and thought-provoking content. It hosts over 200 speakers and 30,000 attendees at over 150 events each year. The main events include:

Talks: Talks are programs set on large stages featuring five to six world-class speakers who explore a specific topic from their unique perspective. Through presentations, interviews and performances, speakers captivate, inspire and motivate.

Labs: Labs are hands-on, one-of-a-kind experiences that take place on site at local institutions to provide a behind-the-scenes peek into their organization. With more than 75 different Labs to choose from, attendees have the opportunity to be inspired to try something new.

Past speakers have included Hillary Clinton, General Colin Powell, Martha Stewart, George Lucas, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Michael Strahan, Martine Rothblatt, Mario Batali, Sal Kahn, Gwenyth Paltrow, Jack Welch, Sandra Day O’Connor, Deepok Chopra, Bryan Cranston, Buzz Aldrin, Obiageli Ezekwisili, Malcolm Gladwell, Questlove and hundreds more.

SCAFURIDESIGNS has had the honor of becaming the cornerstone of Chicago Ideas’ marketing efforts, tackling roughly 5,000 brand, print and digital projects over 5 years, all while helping them bring unity to the brand across all audience touch points. With SCAFURIDESIGNS branding efforts leading the charge, Chicago Ideas was able to earn 900 Million media impressions, 320 million donate media impressions, 25,000+ email subscribers and over 75,000 social media followers. Attendance, membership and fundraising numbers also increased year over year.
